Seeds for the distinct Custo Barcelona style were sewn when two brothers, Custo and David Dalmau, took an around-the-world motorcycle trip. Among the new cultures and art they experienced, the California lifestyle –- as expressed by the surfers in Southern California and the psychedelics in the North -– made a lasting impression.
